Pregnant, Vaginal Infection, Brown Discharge With Blood Clots, Painful While Baby Moves. Any Ideas?

Hi, I am 38 weeks + 4 days and was diagnosed of vaginal infection in my 36th week. I had a pelvic exam at 37 weeks and since then I have been bleeding. I have been having brown discharge with some blood clots. The doctors admit me to the hospital for observation and without anything discharge me within 2 days. I am slightly worried as my contractions are still irregular but now it hurts even when my baby moves

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The mild contractions in third trimester can cause a bleeding due to dislodged mucus plug. The ultrasound scan will help in detecting the source of bleeding and will rule out placenta praevia.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
