Pregnant, Vomiting, Nausea, Weakness. Taking Doxinate. History Of Hypermesis. Treatment?
iam 36 yrs old and have 9weeks pregnancy. iam severely vomiting since last 2 weeks, before that i was facing nausea and vomiting. but now nothing stops inside stomach , all i eat comes out in 2-3 heavy vomiting. i can t drink water, feeling weak. during my last pregenancy i was patient of hypermesis and suffered for full 9 months. this time iam feeling nervous, i feel hungry but feel afraid to eat anything. taking doxinate as SOS but that too is not helping, i vomited and feel dizzy, tasteless, sensationless.

Hi,
As you are suffering from hyperemesis , take injection of emset after consulting your doctor.
As you are not tolerating orally, do not take any thing orally.Get admitted and have I. V. nutrition.
Afterwards when able to take orally take Doxinate 2 tablets in the night before sleep and one in morning,not SOS.
Have small frequent meals .
Get your investigations done of Urine and liver function test.

Thanks for the query.
Some amount of vomiting is common in early pregnancy. But according to your history you are having hyperemesis which you had in previous pregnancy also.
So you better once consult your doctor and get investigated to find out the cause for it.
If no underlying problem is found, you can take intravenous fluids to treat dehydration.
Then after improvement of general condition you can take anti emetics like ondarnsetron with your doctor's advice which will work probably. Once the vomitings get controlled you can keep the tablet as SOS and continue with doxinate.
