Pregnant With Cough, Congestion, Sneezing, Yellow Phlegm And Tiredness. On Keflex. What Is Wrong?
Hi there. I am 9 weeks pregnant with the following symptoms. Cough, congestion, Sneezing, yellow phlegm and tiredness. My obgyn has prescribed me with Keflex as I have had this for around 10 days. He believes it is a chest infection. I want to know if this antibiotic will help with my congestion? Is there anything else that will allow me to breathe from my nose again??? Thank you.

Hi,
It seems that you are having lower respiratory tract infection.
Capsules Keflex will work for this infection.
It is safe during pregnancy.
You can take some cough syrup to help clear nasal breathing and cough reflex.
Do deep breathing exercise.
Ok and take catre.
