Prescribed Baby Aspirin After Numbness In Left Side Of Body, Diagnosed Not Stroke. Any Thoughts?

I was sitting on my bed with my legs straight out in front of me. I felt like I got stabbed in my left foot and it went numb and the numbness went all the way up my left side through my face and stayed that way for 3 days and then let go. I went to the emergency room and they took a cat scan of my brain and said I did not have a stroke. I went to a cardiologist and he dis a cardio gram of my heart and said I did not have a stroke and told me to take a baby aspirin every day. I am 52 and weigh 100.
