doctor is recommended us clomid 50 mg 2 tablets in morning and 1 tablet in night. for 3 months.
Hello and welcome to HCM, The interpretation of the ultrasound report is as follows: 1. The ultrasound has been taken in the follicular phase of the menstrual cycle. It is during this phase, follicles in the ovary increase in size. One of the follicles, which is often the largest ruptures around 14th day of the cycle and releases the ovum. If fertilization with the sperm takes place conception and thus implantation of the fertilized ovum takes place. 2. Both right and left ovaries are developing follicles.
Prescription of clomid suggests that your wife is suffering from polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD). PCOD is characterized by inability of the ovarian follicles to mature. This drug stimulates the ovaries to produce more follicles and allow them to mature and rupture during ovulation.
Continue the drug for prescribed period and get the follicular scan regularly.
