Prescribed With Primolut To Stop Periods. Side-effects, Dosage And Administration To Stop Periods?

Hi, my dr prescribed me 5mg od of primolut n to stop my next period due in 13 days. Cycle is 28 days. Started this morning but only took half tab as worried about side effects. Already have mild anxiety and feel spacey. 2 questions, will the dose of 5mg od work to stop my period? Or do I need to take a higher shorter term dose?

Thanks for query,
Primolut N had cause some nausea & chest burn.
It will change your cycle.
It should be taken 5 mg daily up to your proposed date of event.Once you stop it you will get withdrawal bleed after 3-5 days.
Half tablet had no significance.
