Pressure In Lower Abdomen, Pain Near Cervix, Dizziness, Lower Back Pain During Periods With History Of D&C. Is This Serious?

I had a D&C on October 18th, I just now started my period around midnight. I have gone through four pass already. instead of cramping I am having lower abdominal pressure, and pain around my cervix area. I am also having dizzy spells and very sleepy, and lower back pain. I am supposed to have a vaginal hysterectomy but my surgery has not been scheduled yet. what do I need to do in the meantime to help resolve this

Hello ma'am and welcome.

Although a hysterectomy should help resolve most of your problems, I think you may need to get your hormone levels checked and adequate correction may be required. This should help suppress your symptoms to a certain extent, mild pain management medication may also be added to your regimen. Do request for an early scheduling of your surgery.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
