Problems With Hearing, Ear Pops After Shooting With Pistol
Several Months ago, I was asked if I wanted to try shooting my son's new 45 cal pistol - which I did. Immediately my hearing was messed up. Sometimes normal sounds are distorted and sound like a speaker with the paper ripped out. My ear also pops a lot and makes funny sounds when it does this. I have been to a hearing doctor who joked that "it will either get better or it wont": which wasn't very helpful. I have always had some hearing loss and have worn a hearing aid to correct this - however I have been unable to wear the hearing aid since the shooting incident - as it tends to distort the sounds even more. Any advice ?
