Proceeding For IVF Next Month, unable To Balance The Period Cycle. Taking Ovral L. Any Suggestion?
I am proceeding for IVF next month. This month I am on Ovral L and have finished taking 21 tablets on 14 oct 2013. However I will be travelling for next couple of days, so I am continuing Ovral L without a break since the 14th. Is it okay to take these for additional 6 days to manage cycle date this month? Also, once I get my period can I manage my cycle next month as well in the same manner because I have to book my tickets and stay based on my period date as I will be travelling to another state for Ivf? I.e Incase I get my period on 20th Oct, and I start my pack of Ovral L on day 2, can I continue this pill till 18 Nov (that is 21 + 6 days)?
If this is done once in a while, it is assumed to be okay and acceptable, but not more frequently. I would either eay ask you to consult your prescribing doctor as I am unaware about your history and all other details. Please only consult a doctor and change your prescription, do not tamper with it or make alterations by yourself.
Wishing you good health and nothing less.
Best wishes.
