Profuse Sweating In Thighs While Sleeping With Itching. Tried Econazole Cream. What Will Help?
Hi Doctor. I am Peter. With blanket covers my abdomen, I feel warmer and tend to sleep well about 3 hours. Then I tend to wake up as I could feel a bit sweat at my both thighs. Itchiness tend to develop. I apply econazine cream and go to sleep. but the problems repeat the following nights. Some help please. Thanks.
Hi. seems you have a minor fungal infection between your thighs which might be developing due to sweat getting trapped. Apply Antifungal dusting powder before going to sleep and after taking bath in the morning. It will keep the area dry and prevent fungal growth. Apply econazole cream regularly for 2 weeks. Wear loose fitting clothes and cotton undergarments
