Hi, my boyfriend put povidone-jodine 10 % on his face everyday to stop getting spots is it ok for him or could it make him ill? Thank you Victoria

10% povidone iodine is a disinectant and is too strong to be used as a face wash,it may prevent boils for some time but they would still come.Ideally he should stop using it.
