Quit The Pill. Extremely Tired, Varied Hormones. Pregnant Or Readjusting To Tablet?

hi my name is ashley, i had recently quit the pill because of how it was making me feel. i was only on it for a month, before that i had taken the depo shot a couple months prior to taking the pill, i had waited atleast 3 months before taking safryal. i had gotten my period the last 3 days of the bc wich was the 7th of this month, after quitting i thought i was ovulating at the expected time which would have been the 18th of this month instead i started spotting. so i thought i started my period. i had unprotected sex all month and on the 23? idk but ive been extremely tired, weirdly hormonal and was wondering if i was pregnant or just readjusting to the pill.

Hi and thanks for the query,

It id normal to experience changes n one,s menstrual cycle , or a few abnormal irregular bleeds after withdrawing from hormonal contraception. This is certainly the case for you. It can take a few months for the menstrual cycle to become regular.

Missed period no matter the circumstance always deserves a formal exclusion of a pregnancy. It is possible therefore that this could also be a pregnancy, though the chances are low. I advice that you get a good pregnancy test done. Thanks and hope this helps. Kind regards.
