Random Feeling Of Nausea, Back, Neck Pain After Car Accident. Why Is It Happening?

My girlfriend and I were in a car accident, someone hit is from behind. Since the accident my girlfriend has been telling me that she randomly has moments where she is feeling nausea , I have asked her if she has any other pains or anything else unusual, to which she says no. She does have some back and neck pain but this can be a normal occurrence with her job (self employed cleaner and housekeeper). I wondered if anyone could give me any ideas of what it may be. Thank you for your time.

Hello dear and welcome
The nausea feeling or somewhat dizziness or vertigo can be related to the neck pain. It might be possible that the jerk at the time of accident might increase the problem of neck and back which might previously exist. Follow certain steps that will help in getting relief:
1. Use hard bed, avoid pillow or use thin pillow.
2. Your sitting posture should be straight.
3. Avoid jerky movements of neck. Avoid riding bicycle or motorcycle.
4. You can take anti-inflammatory and muscle relaxants drugs orally or You can apply anti inflammatory and muscle relaxants gel locally.
5. Regularly change the posture of the neck while working or sitting.
6. Do regular exercise as advised by your physiotherapist.

Consult your doctor if symptoms increases or write back to us.
