Rapid Heart Beats Causing Dizziness, What Could It Be?

My heart starts to beat really fast for about 10 seconds then slows way down sometimes it will pump hard one last time, I feel dizzy and it feels like it aches after. This is new for me, I'm 36 year old female. What is it? It happens anytime..no matter what I'm doing and it started about 2 months ago. Thanks.

Hello .... I read your post. From reading your symptoms it looks you may possibly have ectopics which means once in a way your heart gets out of its regular rhythm and beats in an erratic fashion. As the blood supply to the periphery may be compromised at these times you may feel dizzy. I would suggest you undergo an ECG and meet a cardiologist. These could be benign but its better to be evaluated in detail. Cutting down your stress, caffeine would surely help
