Rash On Hip, Itchy, Redness, Flaky. Will It Get Worse?

I have a rash on my hip near my pelvis that started out as a non-itchy cluster of little red bumps. It faded only to become one itchy, red, welt-like blemish covering about the same amount of area as it did before it changed. My skin isn't very dry on the rash or scaly. It's slightly flakey but not by much. The rash has not spread anywhere else and it's been a few weeks. Is it going to get worse? Will it go away?

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
From the description it seems, you could be having ring worm or fungsl infection. Usually application of an antifungal cream like clotrimazole or miconazole or terbinafine cream helps in such cases. Other possibility could be eczema or psoriasis. I would advise that you consult a doctor nearby to get the diagnosis confirmed, so that proper Treatment can be advised.
Hope that helped.
Take care
