Hello,

This is a very common phenomena that happens to many of us.
First it started as dermatitis due to any allergy or contact to any hard surface.
The skin in the area becomes hyperkeratosis. (Thick scaly skin).
Dermatologist has prescribed topical steroid cream. It will help to smooth the skin.
But the ultimate thing to identify and provide the cause for the problem.
