Hello dr. My age is 32 and height 5 2 . I hv my last period on 19th october. I m 8th week pregnant (first pregnancy) and today I went for abdominal scanning in which dr told me that there is sac but no heart beat and she suggested me to go for vaginal scanning...she told me that may b the foetus is lying very low in the sac that s why we are unable to see and listen his heart beat... I m feeling v bad. Plz tell me the possible reasons for no heart beat during 8th week of pregnancy
It is really stressful situation. But radiologist already given you a reason. It is better to repeat vaginal scanning after 1-2 weeks to confirm it as you are in early weeks of pregnancy (6 week from last ovulation).
Same time report your gynecologist if you experienced abdominal pain or bleeding.
Wish you good health and all the best.
