Reason For Chest Discomfort, Stomach Pain And Headaches?
I started out having acid reflux 6-8 weeks ago. After that I had what I thought was a sinus infection which is because I had some colorful mucus. The prescribed me amoxicillin and the sinus pretty much went away. This whole time though I ve had some chest discomfort, stomach pain, and headaches. I also had a swollen lymph node on my neck that I had looked at by an E.N.T. doctor. He didn t even do a biopsy and said that it wasn t in a typical place of cancer and not to worry about it. I m just wondering what this could be. I m going in tomorrow for a stress test, pulmonary respiratory test, and an ultrasound because they found an enzyme that was kind of high in my liver, gallbladder area from a blood test. What are your thoughts?
Sinusitis may be associated with enlarged neck lymph nodes, but could be other infection for example, TB also...so take antibiotics for 5-7 days, if size of lymph node decrease ,then no worry.but if size increases or remains same- biopsy should be done..plus second thing, there could be viral infection, which has caused sinusitis & now also affecting liver, suggested by raised liver enzymes, so monitoring of liver enzymes weekly & avoidance of fat & protein rich diet is necessary & get blood investigations for viral hepatitis panel done
