Reason For Fluid Coming Out From Ear During Bacterial Infection?

I have a bacterial infection on/in both of my ears and the backside caused by a slight cut to my lobes. I had turned my head on the pillow, I believe. Dr gave me antibiotics. Not sure if its working at day1.5. So Friday evening I took the medicine and by Saturday late afternoon fluid started to seep out. They seem to sweat or maybe the bad bacteria is being removed through the pores? They are red swollen for 2 days and I've tried different creams: Cortizone 10, Neosporen , bee pro polis a natural ointment called, "Auntie Itch". About an hour ago I have resorted to silver gel and it seems to relieve the heat and pulsing seems to be a little less. Are things normal in the healing process. The Dr. at Urgent care said it takes about 3 days so that would be Monday night.
