Reason For Painless, Honey Comb Shaped, Itchy Patterns On Thigh?

This had happened to me a few times. I have gotten out of the shower and I get these honey comb shaped patterns on my thigh above my knee and on my elbow. It almost looks like a capillary bed. It lasts for a few hours then go away. It's a bit itchy but there's no pain. What is it?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for the query,
You might have developed acute urticaria.
It is an allergic condition.
Anything including food, cloth, change in climate, pollens etc can cause urticaria.
You need to find out the cause.
Treatment can be with oral anti histamines.
Steroids like prednisolone are also helpful but cannot be used for long.
Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
Let me know if you have any other doubt.
you can ask a direct question to me on this forum, following the below link.
