Reason For Small Red Spots On Lower Head With Bad Headache

My husband has a few small red spots on his head and they are very touchy. We were at the beach last week and I thought it might be a sunburn but is lower down on the back of his head below the top of the ear. He had a really bad headache the first day when he noticed them. Could this be sun poisoning? Thank you.

this could be herpes zoster or sunburn
if you can upload me a photograph of the rashes by asking me a direct question i will gladly answer you

you can give him tab acetaminophen or ibuprofen for headache and sunscreen or calamine lotion to be applied locally on the rashes
