Reason For Symptomatic Variable Blood Pressure

I am having a problem with sympomatic variable blood pressure. BTW I am 68 yrs old, and have a family history of heart attacks (congestive heart failure, I believe). I have never had ANY problem in my life (no "incidents", no high bp, etc.).
Let me give you my thie AM scenario:
I awoke at 7AM today (7:09AM), my readings from that point follow (in reverse time order):
sez dis/sys (pulse) time
-1. 124 / 61 (pulse 70) time: 9:30 AM
0. 128/56 (67) 9:28
1. 122/52 (64) 9:21
(previous to #1, I whiped the dew off my van)
2. 130 / 72 (57) 8:36
3. 170/86 (57) 8:15
Prev. to #3, I had gone back to sleep.
4. 134 / 68 (57) 7:09 AM
awoke at 7:00 AM.

Thanks for contacting HCM. Dear patient it appears as if you are using an electronic BP apparatus. These are highly unreliable. Please go to a doctor and get your BP measured with an mercury sphygmomanometer. Even the readings you have mentioned are all within the normal limit and the variation which is seen is due to normal diurnal variation of blood pressure. You have no cause for worry if you do not have any associated symptoms. Regards
