Reason For White Hair?

Hello my brother has some white hairs coming out recently in the scalp associated with some kind of inflammatory spots and kind of pimple thing.We are very concerned about him, he has more than three or four regions of the hair like this small but the hair are totally white around the inflammatory part.Please any suggestions.

Hi,

I can understand your concern for greying of hair in your brother. You have not mentioned the age of your brother.
White hair in beard before the age of 25 years is quite unusual. This is known as premature canities.

The latest of the treatment available for the same is by "Melitain gel" local application. For the prevention there is no mainstay of therapy but you can take vitamins in the form of biotin, calicium pantothenate and other B complexes.

Eat a lot of green leafy vegetables and sprouts which contains vitamins and minerals necessary for normal hair function.

Reduce his stress level and stop any substance abuse like smoking or alcohol.
