Recommend An Affordable Over-the-counter Treatment For Two Long-standing Black Marks On My Face

Good day Doctor I am a 44 year old indian female. I have had two black on my face for years. I am so self aware and one is on my temple and the other on the opposite side on my cheek bone. Both Mark s are over 8 years old now. Please can you recommend something affordable over the counter, I am embarrassed to say I am unemployed at this point and also feel I am being a bit superficial as the other stresses. If you could possibly help I would be ever so appreciative and grateful. Have a lovely day Kind regards

Hi,

This could be melasma. It's better if examined directly. Till now you can use, Kojivit ultra gel. In the night time, apply thin layer over black mark and wash after 2 hours. If any irritation to the cream, stop and consult doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pavithra Gundappa, Dermatologist
