Recommend Test To Detect BV

Hello ! Im a 16 year old girl and i think i have bv. I do want to find out and confirm but i am awfully afraid on going to the gynecologist and getting a swab test. Is there any way that an alternative way can be done to find out about this bv ? Can bv be detected through discharge ? Thank you.

If possible visit a diagnostic centre where we can test your urine and vaginal discharge. Once the results return, you can use our premium service and write back to me with the result and I shall be more than happy to interpret the results and advice treatment as well.

For now if you have the following symptoms, we should suspect an infection: burning sensation while urinating, vaginal discharge, frequent urination, itching around genitalia, etc. Not all symptoms need to be present all the time, but please note that the vaginal discharge is almost always present.
