Recommend Treatment For Itchy Skin Problems

Hello doctor,
I'm male 38 years old. I've had an irritating skin problem for years. Big red swollen spots appear on different parts of my body, especially on my groins and my armpits. Sometimes the become so wet and secrete a liquid for a few days which causes my skin on these regions to itch so badly. Doctors have prescribed cortisone oinments but they work as long as they are used and off course they are not good to a great extent as a decisive treatment.
Please tell me what I should do to get rid of this problem.
