Hi! So I'm female, eighteen, a little overweight (but active), and I've had an ear infection in my right ear for a few months. I recently got rid of it, but then my left ear started to itch, burn and feel clogged. There is a small lump right in front of my ear at the condyle, the size of a tic tac. The lump is very tender, and I can barely hear anything out of my left ear. It feels like there is water in my ear. I thought it might be like when I got Swimmer's ear in my right ear, but this feels so much worse and I didn't have the lump before. I've been taking Ibuprofen and Soveriegn Silver Immune Support drops. Should I be worried? Is it swimmer's ear or something else? I brush my teeth, but can ear infections be caused by cavities? Can I get permanent ear loss from this? I do listen to a lot of music with earphones, so may that be a contributing cause?
