Rectal Bleeding & I Have Had Diarrhea-like Stools For The Past 5 Days
I just went to the bathroom and instead of having a bowel movement , which I thought I was going to have, there was bright red blood from my rectum. I thought I had started my period because it was a rather alarming amount. I m a female, 30, and heavy drinker and smoker. Inactive, for the most part. Also, I ve had diarrhea-like stools for the past 5 days or so.

Bright red blood indicates fresh bleeding from from the rectal area.It could be due to conditions like infection,hemorrhoids,growths.You should get a rectal examination done to see where the bleeding started.
