Rectal Itching, Hemorrhoids. Tried Witch Hazel And Lotrimin Cream. Could It Be Yeast?
I have had rectal itching for weeks. I also have hemorrhoids,as I can see them and the itching pain is different. The itching is outside the anus. I have tried all hemorrhoid creams, witch hazel and for the past three days a lotrimin cream as I thought it might be fungal. Nothing helps. The internal pain and itch from the hemorrhoids have improved with suppositions. Could it be yeast
Hello, Anal itching is very commonly associated with haemorrhoids and it becomes really very difficult to treat it and requires patience and longtime to treat it. Do the following... Keep your stool soft and easily passable by taking more fibre and plenty of water. Maintain proper local hygiene by keeping your anal area dry. Wipe anal region properly after bowel movement. Take SITZ BATH in warm water twice a day Using steroid creams for long is not recommended and generally useless Wear cotton underwears Avoid scented wipes Apply local anesthetic agent like NUPERCAINAL CREAM locally after SITZ BATH and bowel movement. It would take time, but you should be all right gradually. Sadly, all shortcut methods like using steroids, generally fail. Thanks
