Recurred Cough, Cold Even After Medication. Blood Tests Suggested If Recurred Again. Suggestions?

Hi doctor,I m having cough and cold for the last 3 days,last month also i had this problem after medication it got cured. again now the same problem , so doctor prescribed me Advent,Dolo,Telekast and Cobodex..for 5 days Today is the first day of course.. he suggested if not cured with the these medicines then blood test has to be taken. please tel me is it anything serious

Dear you are suffering from cold and cough do not need to worry. The prescription which has prescribed by doctor take for five days. i think you will get relief from that one.Ir you don't get relief go for some investigation like X rays of chest, CBC. There are some common methods which will be useful for your problem like -
steam inhalation twice a day.
Luke warm water.
Use Chawanprash two Table spoon twice a day along with milk it will increase your immunity power.
