Recurred Hairy Black Tongue. No Help From Fungal Antibiotic. Medication?

I had a diagnosis of Hairy black tongue last year and had two doctors that saw it One gave me antibiotics that the other doctor said it would not clear it. He gave me a fungal antibiotic and it cleared up. Now once again it is back. I was given the fungal antibiotic but it has not worked this time out. We are in between doctors as our general doctor is no longer working at the health clinic here. I do not know what to do with this. Any answers would be thankfully received if only I can get this resolved

Hi,

Thanks for asking the query,

Along with the use of medications proper oral hygiene maintainence is required clean the tongue gently with a tongue scraper or a soft bristle toothbrush.
Drink plenty of water and keep yourself hydrated.
If you are having smoking habit, quit it.
Even if the problem does not resolve the papillae can be surgically chipped off with laser or electrosurgery.

Hope this helps out,

Regards...
