Hi
Need to work up for odd causes like porphyria, chronic lead poisoning.
Also worthwhile getting a serum calcium, Cat scan done
If all that is normal can take help of an counceller and if required an psychiatrist.
Hope this answers your query.
Wish her a speedy recovery.
