General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that you might be having thrombophlebitis due to some exreavasation of blood or some vascular capillary damage.
Consult your doctor and with one course of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicine course you will be alright.
Apply thrombophob cream locally.
Ok and take care.
