Recurring Upper Respiratory Tract Infections, Fever, Sore Throat. History Of Bronchitis. How To Prevent This?

Age 43,female,ht 5 2 ,113 lbs,recurrent upper respiratory infections.This is the third one,first one started last Dec.resulted in Bronchitis ,then had another episode in Feb.And now its fever , sore throat ,red tonsils,head ache.I work at a Montessori with kids who are alwys sick.How do I prevent myself from getting sick every winter?!

you have got symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection and if you have history of allergy to dust and pollen and symptoms are recurring then you are suffering from allergic rhinitis.

If it is the case take antibiotics (amoxycillin clavulanic acid 625 tid plus azithromycin 500 OD). along with nasal spray of azelastine and fluticasone. you may need antihistaminic like cetrizine 10 mg od .
