Red Bump Inside Belly Button, Bleeding, Itchy, Feels Like Itchy Urethra. Anything To Worry?

Hi,
I just noticed that I have a red bump inside my belly button. It is bleeding and very itchy to the point it feels like the inside of my urethra is itchy as well. I know it is due to the lump in my belly button. Should I be concerned, or should I just use an antibacterial soap and wait to see if it goes away?

Thanks,
Gabe

Hi thanaks for writing here.It seems to be a bacterial infection.Keep area clean.Do not squeeze it.You can use antibacterial soap, and also apply antibiotic cream at night. For itching you can take antihistaminics. You can try this for 4 to 5 days, but if it does not subside then better you consult your doctor and start oral antibiotics.Take care.
