Red, Itchy Bumps On Calf And Arms, Leaves Black Scars. What Could This Be?

I'm beginning to develop small, red itchy bumps on my calfs and arms. Nothing on my back or face. I checked my bed for bed bugs... no bugs. I get them in series. When one set (about 10-15) heals, another attack happens and Im left with black scars on my legs. I looks as if I have chicken-pox scars. I do not have any pets, and have a super clean home. I've washed my bed clothes, use Bactine spray, and an itch ointment. What could this be? Please help because the itching is unbearable all day. This began about 2 weeks ago.

Hello,
Thanks for the query.

You might have developed folliculitis.

These are deep bacterial infections.

The scars are post inflammatory hyper pigmentation,

Treatment is with antibiotics but the choice of antibiotics should be based on culture and sensitivity tests.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
