Red, Oblong Spot Above Groin, Dark In The Center, Palish Spot On Inner Thigh, Sexually Active. Cause?

Hi I have a red oblong shaped spot above my groin at the top of my pubic hair . It gets darker and more red near the centre. I also have a palish red spot on my inner left thigh. These are less than 2 days old. For the past two weeks I have experienced small, pin like dots on the inside of both inner upper thighs. Thanks! I m 18, female, sexually active, only had one sexual partner

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi ,

You may be suffering from insect bite, tinea corporis, eczema.

You should apply antifungal like fusidic clotrimazole on the affected skin 2-3 times.

Please visit a good dermatologist or physician for proper examination and treatment with prescription drugs.

Hope this helps.

Regards.
