Red Patches Developed On Cheeks, Tip Of Nose And Chin. Reappears After Discontinuing Cream. What To Do?

hello Dr. I m rina from gujarat, india. 4 years back in heavy winter red patches r developed on my cheeks, tips of nose n chin . using a cream containing steroid . as soon as i discontinue using this cream, again red patches with small acne on it with irritation appears. pl guide me to have a smooth skin n discontinue cream containing steroid.

Hello,
Thanks for the query,

You might be suffering from rosaceae.

It is an inflammatory condition of face,

Mainly affecting the face,

The vessels get dilated and hence face become red.

You need treatment with topical anti inflammatory like metrogyl cream.

Doxycycline is also helpful.

A photograph would have helped me in giving a closer diagnosis.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
