Red Rash On Thigh, Raised, Spreading, Burning Sensation In Stomach, Have Gas. Is It An Allergic Reaction?

I have a red rash on my inner thigh, right above my knee. The bumps are small and a little raised. These bumps have also lightly spread to my hands, feet, legs and arms, but there are no bumps on my trunk. The bumps itch from time to time. I went to the doctor and they said it's an allergic reaction to something and gave hydrocortisone acetate (hyderm 1%). I started using this 4 days ago and haven't seen any improvements. I've also been taking Claritin.
Apart from the skin rash I also have an upper stomach pain every time I eat or drink anything other than Juice, tea, water and crackers. The pain is a mild burn in the upper stomach (no burn in the esophagus) that lasts for about an hour after the meal, and immediately after I experience lots of gas (burping and passing wind) for hours after, but no bowel movements. Im pretty regular (twice a day), but its been about 5 days since I've had a regular BM.

The rash came first (about 2 weeks ago) and then I started to pick up on the stomach pain a week ago. Initially I thought the rash was from some 2-week old expired eggs I ate 2 days back to back, but I didn't experience anything on the days I ate them, So now I'm not so sure what this is.

Can anyone speculate as to what this can be because I'm at a loss right now.

Rash: The description sounds like an allergic reaction. You are being treated right for it. Give it some time to subside.

Lack of bowel movement for 5 days: Please visit the emergency room or your PCP if you can get an early appointment. It's likely that they will get an erect X ray of your abdomen; it is important to rule out an obstruction. Sometimes, when you get allergic bumps in your gut, different segments of it can pull against each other causing an obstruction.
