Red, Sensitive Areas Under Clitoris Hood. No Itching. History Of Having Painful Oral Sex. Can Antibacterial Cream Applied?

During the last time I received oral sex it was painful on the clitoris. When I look not there are red areas around the inner area of the clitoris proximally on the clitoris under the clitoral hood. I'm thinking this is likely from irritation/small tear during foreplay I would however like to make sure it is nothing more. It is very sensitive to the touch but not itchy. Can I clean the area or put on a antibacterial cream even though it's under the hood of the clitoris? What else could cause these small red areas under the clitoral hood that are sensitive/painful to the touch?

Hi,
It seems that you are having either post traumatic bacterial infection or herpes progenitalis.
Bacterial infection , may follow after mild trauma during foreplay.
Herpes progenitalis is viral infection , caused by herpes simplex virus type 1 or type 2.
As there was oral sex, it is likely herpes simplex virus type 1.
If it is bacteria, the treatment is simple and easy.
Take short course of antibiotics and apply antibacterial cream.
If no response, there may be HP.
Antibody test against HSV may be done.
Antiviral drugs like acyclovir may be taken for long time.
All precaution should be taken for prevention of relapse.
But, all this should be done under gauidance of dermatolologist..

I hope you got my answer..

Regards.
