Red Sores On Penis, Scabs, Painful, On Bottom Of Shaft, Burning Sensation. What Is Going On?

Dear doctor,

I recently have noticed small, red sores on my penis that have scabbed over and are painful. There seems to be approximately 11 in total in the bottom of my shaft. To go with that, I also have a burning sensation when I urinate now.

I work everyday and by the time I'm off work all of the walk in clinics are closed.

What could this possibly be?

Hello
Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have
developed infection of the glans called as Ballanitis mostly due to unprotected sex.

Please take broad spectrum antibiotics orally along with topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin for local application for a week.

Please get prescription of the drugs from your family Physician.

Observe proper personal hygiene by cleaning your genitals with warm water twice daily.

Avoid sexual activities till it heals up completely.
I think it should get cured within a week.
