Red Spots On Palm, Burning Sensation, Warm To Touch. Help
my name is pradip, For about 2 weeks now i have had something going on with the palms of my hands. They are loaded with little red spots, and when looked close upon have hundreds of little bumps. i havent changed anything, soaps , detergents... or anything else. The spots are always their and are uncomfortable when touched, and having a burning sensation whenever i touch anything warm.
Hi, Pradip Thanks for your query. You seem to have developed pompholyx. It is a form of hand eczema. Pompholyx is aggravated by contact with irritants such as water, detergents and solvents. You may do cold compresses and apply moisturizers . Use a steroid cream twice a day by prescription.
Contact with irritants must be avoided as much as possible and protective gloves worn to prevent additional irritant contact dermatitis. Plastic gloves are preferable to latex ones.
Hope this helps you.
