Red Swelling Behind The Ear With Yellow Flakes And Smelly Puss. What Could This Be?

Hi, there is something behind my ears and I am worried. It is red and kind of (a little bit) swollen (i think). When I gently pull on it, It hurts. It has yellowish flakes on it, but when I wash it off, some kind of weird, sticky, and smelly liquid appears behind my ears. This thing won't go away. Please help me get rid of it.

Based on your description, it is possible that you have an infection in that area.
The infection may be bacterial or fungal though bacterial is more common.

Treatment would be based on the assessment by your doctor. This means that depending on the severity only topical creams may be needed or if it is thought to be more severe a combination of topical and oral medication may be suggested.
