Red, Swollen And Painful Ear. Took Antibiotics. What Is The Cure?

my ear is bright red, swollen, and extremely painful but I did not get a piercing recently or injury sustained. First my left ear was swollen, red, and painful, was treated with antibiotics and a few weeks later my right ear experienced the same symptoms

Hi,
I have gone through your query.
It suggests that you may be suffering from the perichondritis.
For your kind information ---->
1. The most common cause for perichondritis is trauma, other causes may be
due to ear scratching, by a hearing device, insect bites, earrings, haircut, human bite , allergic reaction, fungal infection and unknown.
2. The most common pathogen isolated is the P. aeruginosa.
3. Patients with perichondritis should be started as soon as possible on anti-pseudomonal medications.

If you have any doubt, I will be available for your query.
