Reddish Brown Discharge After Lifting Heavy Objects, No Abdominal Pain, Light Bloating And Lower Back Pain, On Periods Due. What Could This Be?
Yesterday I lifted several objects that were much too heavy for me. About two hours or so later I went to restroom & noticed some reddish-brown discharge . It doesn t have a weird smell or anything. I am 18 years old & not sexually active so I couldn t be pregnant or anything. I am concerned because my mom said k could have knocked my cervix or something out of place ? Please help I am worried. I don t have any abdominal pain but I do feel slightly bloated & have very minor lower back pain . I am expecting my period in about a week or so? my breasts are not tender or sore like they usually are before my period. What could this be??
Hi, Thanks for consulting us. I think you should not be very alarmed by this single episode of spotting. This is not an indication of a misplaced cervix or any other organ. This inter-menstrual spotting need investigation only if it is present in your next cycle as well. Cause could vary from a hormonal imbalance to a genital polyp (if there is no chance of a pregnancy). You need a pelvic ultrasound and a Gynecological consultation if this continues. Wish you good health.
