Reddish Swollen Area Near The Buttocks. Reason?
Hi Samuel, I have a soft tissue area where in my bum meets my thigh. This morning I woke up and a large area around it is very swollen, red, and hard. Can you tell me the cause of this? And what I should do? I live in a quadriplegic residential facility, I am a 34-year-old male, injury level - C4 complete, no one can give me an answer. Please help, Greg, Perth Western Australia

it look like you have bacterial infection or pressure sore
as you have c4 level injury ,pressure sore chance are higher
what you should do is apply good antibiotic cream and take antibiotic and analgesic medicine
do not put pressure over the affected area .
change your position frequently
wear loose and cotton cloths to avoid further friction
better to consult doctor if it not improved
