Redness, Blotchy, Itching All Over Body. Taken Benadryl, Vitmain D3. Due To Vitamin D Toxicity?
Hve been unable to track down cause of recurring abnormal reaction. My body goes on fire and I become red and blotchy all over, feels like a bad sunburn and itches unbearably. After benadryl dose, symptoms subside in about 4-5 hours. Been trying to figure out cause. Am 74 yrs old, very slim, 5' tall and have been taking D3 1000 iu plus multi-vitamin with 800 IUs of D. Could this be a case of Vit D toxiccity? Have lost appetite, weight and feel tired which is unusual for me.
Hi, Madame, thanks for calling Health care magic forum. as you describe the changes could be the Utricaria an allergic reaction, to some thing like food, cosmetics, soap, or dress, or bed sheets. To find out to what things you are allergic you will be the correct judge by omitting the things you have come across recently one by one for 2 days, and continue after omiting the other thing. Other wise you can consult a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment. It may be due to the worms in the intestine so deworming may plays a role. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.
