Redness, Small Bumps, Irritation With Pain Under Foreskin Behind Penis Head. Any Ideas?
I have never had sexual relations with anyone but my wife. I do not have a large foreskin, but now have much redness under the foreskin behind the head of penis. this spring I went to the doctor and got some salve which seemed to clear it up. Then 2 months ago it reoccurred and I went to a different doctor (PA) and said to keep clean and keep using salve. (Nystatin is the first cream) Now it still has extreme redness and several small bumps, some irritation and some pain. this is on top of penis mostly. I have a doctor s appt. on Wed. Dec. 6 so will check again to see if they can help. Or may get back to you.

Most likely it looks to be fungal infection.
It usually occurs after unprotected rough sex,improper hygiene,severe scratching after perspiration.
Take proper local care.
Wash it with antiseptic liquid, make it dry and apply cream like clotrimazole,miconazole.
Start complete course of oral anti fungal like terbinafine,fluconazole.
Azithromycin,secnidazole will be helpful.
Your wife should take Azithormysin,secnidazole,fluconazole kit.
Avoid tight undergarment.
Avoid sex till get complete cure.
You have to go for certain investigations if it is recurrent ,to rule out underlying disease.
Go for cbc,urine,fbs,ppbs,std profile,hsv investigation.
Get examined by dermatologist and start proper medications.
