Redness, Swelling And Itching Stopped After Removing Black Mass Under Skin. Underlying Cause?

hi. i all of a sudden came down with something under my skin. it is black and they look like splinters or seeds. my husband has to pull them out with tweezers and then the redness and swelling and itching stops immediately, what could these be? i have used one bottle of lotion for scabbies already and have to do another one tuesday.

Hi

Thanks for your query

It looks like you have developed a sebaceous cyst.

These lesions present as skin colored or red lesions developing under the skin.
They usually have a black dot on their surface.

Sometimes even a hair follicle is seen coming out of the centre of the lesion.

There is history of occasional discharge of fluid or serum like discharge from the lesion.

These can become painful also when infected.

I would advise you to see a dermatologist for proper treatment or removal of the skin lesion.
