Reeling, Vomiting, Sweating, Heart Disease, Otitis Media Operated. Recommendations?

my father is 68yrs of age .yesterday at 4 o clock in the morning he had reeling of head followed by vomiting and sweating .the reeling started while he was in bed . he is hyper tensive on medication he also has ischemic heart disease and has hypertrophic ventricles. he had chronic otitis media with cholesteotoma which was operated 5 years back .still he has discharge from the same ear occasionally. what is this due to ? can you suggest any medicine to bring relief to the situation when it occurs

Your father probably has Labyrinthitis, that is, affection of the part of the ear which maintains balance.

If you had brought your father to my Clinic, I would have prescribed Betahistine 16mg thrice daily for 2-3 days.

Please consult your doctor to examine him and prescribe him a suitable drug.
